We are delighted to have been invited to take part in this year’s Great British Beer Festival Discovery Bar on Trade Day, Tuesday 5th August 2025. Paul will be there to showcase our artisan-made, natural ciders.
This year, the festival takes place at NEC Birmingham, and the Discovery Bar is where you have the chance to learn more about what you are drinking and how it’s made. It’s a unique opportunity to meet the makers and gain a better understanding of their wares. There are different cider makers and brewers featured on the Discovery Bar on each day of the festival. The makers will also be supported by volunteers who help to showcase the products and answer any questions.
Our theme for the Discovery Bar is Live, naturally sparkling, unsweetened cider. Featuring six of our unpasteurised, unfiltered, naturally sparkling ciders – fermented in keg/bottle/can – we will be focusing on the prospect of live, full-juice, naturally sparkling cider being more widely available in pubs and bars. With the advent of our keeved, keg-fermented cider, it is also now possible to serve naturally sparkling draught cider that is naturally sweet, with no added sugar or sweetener.
This will be a great chance for festival goers to try our keg-fermented/keg-conditioned ciders. The ciders we will have available on the Great British Beer Festival Discovery Bar are:
- Harry Masters Jersey & Brown’s Keeved 2023, keg-conditioned cider
- Kingston Black 2023, keg-conditioned cider
- Porter’s Perfection 2022, pet nat cider
- Yarlington Mill 2021, pet nat cider
- Yarlington Mill Keeved 2022, pet nat cider
- Somerset Redstreak 2022, can-conditioned cider
Also on the Discovery Bar on Tuesday are Elusive Brewing who will be exploring the impact of yeast selection on flavour and aroma.
It’s sure to be a fascinating, informative and, most importantly of all, fun day!
