Paul is delighted to have been invited to pour and present a selection of our artisanal Dorset ciders and perries at London Cider & Perry Club. It’s a Meet the Maker event on Thursday 24th April 2025 at The Real Al Taproom, The Trap, in Walthamstow.
Described as a lively and friendly evening for cider lovers, London Cider & Perry Club has hosted some truly legendary cider makers since its inception in 2022. We are so honoured to have been asked along.
It’s a ticketed event, on sale here, and you’ll be sampling 5 single varietal, pet nat ciders, plus a live keg-fermented cider, straight from the keg.
Paul is the epitome of an artisan cider maker. He does every step of the process himself, from picking up the fruit by hand in the orchards, to pressing the fruit and monitoring the fermenting juices. He bottles, cans and kegs, draws the designs for the labels, and packs and ships the cider. Jo assists with most of these tasks – Paul might say interferes – and also takes the lead on anything that involves writing. She also spends a lot of time attempting to keep Paul on track when he has had yet another of his bright ideas…
