We have just released Prince’s Perry – our new Dorset perry in a 500ml bottle. This is a delicate, naturally sparkling perry made from pears we harvested by hand in our orchard near Bridport.
At 5.0% abv, this is an easy-drinking perry that is delicious served at cool room temperature. It is perfect for a warm summer’s day!
As you can probably guess from the image on the label, this perry is named after our handsome old dog, Prince. He is a 13-year-old German Shepherd x Collie that we adopted about 18 months ago. He’s a wonderful boy and he loves to run and play in the orchard where we pick the perry pears, so we simply had to name this perry after him.
Prince’s Perry is made purely from pears – there is nothing added at all. The pear varieties include Hendre Huffcap and Brandy Pear. It is a dry, unsweetened perry with a gentle natural sparkle.
A deliciously light, spritzy and refreshing perry with notes of elderflower. It’s not a sweet perry, so if you prefer your drinks with no cloying sweetness to spoil the experience, Prince’s Perry could be the one for you!
