UPDATE: Our Open Day was a great success and we met some really interesting people, including the lovely folk from Dorset Nectar who popped by to say hello. In fact, we enjoyed the day so much that we are hoping to do it all again towards the end of May, so look out for more details nearer the time!

An open day at Temple Cider!
Now that our little cider shed is licensed, we have been selling cider direct from the farm by appointment. We’ve loved meeting the people who have visited so far, and it’s been great to chat craft cider with like-minded folk.
So, we have decided to take the plunge and have an Open Day on Saturday 16th April 2022 between 10:30am and 4:00pm. Our cider shed will be open for you can call in to buy cider to take away, without having to contact us in advance. Splendid!
Also, we are pleased to say that we can now take payment by card as well as cash. Marvellous!
We will have all of our bottled ciders available, plus Temple Medium and Temple Dry draft ciders to take away in your own containers, or in our 2L and 4L containers. We can also make up a 3-bottle gift pack with your choice of our 500ml bottles.
Please don’t turn up expecting a huge visitor experience though! It’s just the shed where we make the cider. There’s our cider press and tanks, and we can point out our new orchard on the horizon, but that’s about as exciting as it gets. 🙂
Our location is on Google Maps. The postcode is DT8 3LD, but note that sat nav will take you to a neighbouring property instead, as that’s where the postcode is centred. So, approaching from the B3165 (between Lyme Regis and Crewkerne), near to Blackdown Village Hall, turn onto Specket Lane and then we are the first turning on the left. It’s a steep downhill driveway.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, you can always contact us to make an appointment for another day. And we might have another open day or two in the summer. Let’s see how it goes!
